That New Law Ab 5 is horrible ,..it destroys virtually all workers in California , it lowers wages, forcing people to become "Employees" is stupid as it gives bosses great excuses to lower hours, cut pay, etc,....THE BOSS CAN DO TO THE WORKER WHATEVER HE WANTS AND THE WORKER HAS very little rights or recourse,.. this Law will create on the job tension galore AND MASSIVE !! THIS LAW GIVES ALL THE POWER TO THE BOSS AS IT TAKES IT AWAY FROM THE RIGHTS OF WORKERS,..
AND THIS LAW IS LEFT-WING SINISTER TOO,..IN MORE WAYS THAN I can number,..
It hurts working conditions for American Hispanics who were born here as it allows Illegal immigrants to lower wages and spread their chaos of high rent ( living multiple people to apartments , etc ),.. BUT ,..IT ALSO HURTS WORKING LIVES for many illegal immigrants too as it destroys THEIR JOBS ! As they must paper up legit !
AB 5 ruins Working life For African Americans too as it raises their apartment rent, spreads homeless, disease, rats, poverty, etc,..as it takes away their chance to be a high paid subcontractor who is much more in charge of his or her own destiny !!
AB 5 has destroyed the swimming pool cleaning world as it forces poolmen to not hire workers and do all their pools by "themselves" or at least they attempt to ! As they are virtually forced to terminate workers, etc,..
AB 5 has destroyed the hair cutting cosmetology world, window cleaners, electricians, writers, and practically any guy that works out of a truck or van ,.. and of course it simply wrecks uber and Lyft ,..
Unfortunately however,..it is now the law in California and both uber and Lyft need to now currently 'work" with the EDD so that drivers like myself can collect super important EDD UI online benefits so that we do not lose our homes, apartments, storage units, fall behind on bills,.etc

Covid-19 caused me to have to stop driving way back on March 14 and I am shocked that uber and lyft have not even tried to help me here ONE INCH ! !! a very bad sad situation !!
